Tourism Research Australia (TRA) launches new Online Student Data Package in 2009

Tourism Research Australia has launched the new Online Student Data package in 2009 which is available to subscribing Universities through Online Library Services.  The data package replaces the previous desktop based product (CD MOTA) and  includes results from the International and National Visitor Surveys and enables students to research up to date information on visitor demographics and behaviours.  The students will have access to online help, including an online training manual and information buttons.

Within the Online Student Data package, TRA has compiled a large selection of cross tabulations from the International Visitors Survey (IVS) and National Visitors Survey (NVS) for use by tourism students. These cover a wide range of subjects and use various sorting and filtering methods to make the data relevant to tourism, hospitality and geography subjects.
