Call for papers
CAUTHE 2010 delegates are invited to Challenge the Limits of Tourism and Hospitality in a range of sub-themes. April 1 opens the call for papers for either full papers, extended abstracts or poster presentations. All submissions will be peer reviewed and those accepted will be invited to present in Hobart in 2010.
Note to authors
As a commitment to attend and support the conference, presenters of accepted submissions are expected to register for the fulltime program or the day of their presentation. All costs to attend the conference, including the registration fee, must be met by presenters.
Themes for discussion
Extended abstracts and full papers are invited that challenge the limits of tourism and hospitality in the following sub-themes:
- Challenging the right to travel
- Consumer demand for tourism and hospitality services
- Ethical and sustainable tourism
- Heritage tourism
- Place and destination management
- Tourism and hospitality education
- Other relevant sub-themes
Preparing your abstract or full paper
All abstracts and papers should be formatted to facilitate a double-blind review process. Authors' names and details, including names of all co-authors plus affiliations and addresses for general correspondence (including email address) of each author, and a brief personal profile (maximum 100 words) of the presenter, should appear on a separate cover page that will be removed prior to review.
Accepted papers will be published in the Conference Book of Proceedings with an ISBN and distributed to delegates at the conference.
Abstract submission
Full papers of up to 5000 words are due NO LATER than 1 October 2009 and extended abstracts of up to 1000 words are due NO LATER than 31 October 2009. Early submission of abstracts and papers by 1 August 2009 is encouraged and will expedite the review process for those needing advanced notification of the status of their submission.
All abstracts and papers should be submitted via email as a word.doc attachment to the Scientific Committee via cauthe.2010@utas.edu.au.
Name the file caut followed by the first four letters of the surname of the presenting author, followed by the author's first initial. For example cautflyne.doc for an abstract with the presenting author Errol Flynn.
